Start with two materials

On the Alchemy page, choose two materials from your bag, then press “Alchemize.” Primal materials and creations you already own can both be used in your next experiment.

Start with combinations that seem related. That is a way to explore, not a guarantee of success. Elemental strengths and weaknesses are battle rules, not a chart of alchemy success rates.

To try a combination no one has made before, sign in with Google first. Guests can try known recipes.

What happens when a combination succeeds or fails?

When it succeeds, the result window shows the creation and its rewards. Known recipes still produce their established result; only combinations no one has explored yet can lead to a new discovery.

A failed attempt still uses mana and earns Gold Sand. Confirmed failed combinations are recorded; everyone in the same realm will get the same failure if they try that recipe again. Check the result window for the actual reward. Try a different material or reverse the order.

Tier and purity are different

Tier describes a creation’s depth in the crafting chain. It is determined by the resulting creation, so adding a higher-tier material does not necessarily raise it. For example, Earth plus Water makes Mud; if Earth plus Soda also makes Mud, the result keeps Mud’s original tier. Higher-tier creations may cost more mana; the Alchemize button shows the actual cost.

Purity is shown as one to five stars and describes how well a recipe fits its result. The same creation can come from different recipes with different purity. Higher purity can affect value and Gold Sand rewards; it does not mean you discovered the creation first.

The Codex and world-first discoveries

Players in the same realm share a Codex. The first time you obtain a creation counts toward your personal collection. If you are the first person in the realm to make it, the Codex records you as its discoverer.

Open the “Codex” to revisit discoveries and creation details. Each realm has its own game data and Codex.
