Mana, Gold Sand, and Coins
Spend mana to craft, earn Gold Sand, then use coins to buy supplies.

Mana: the cost of each attempt
The Alchemize button shows how much mana this attempt costs. Higher-tier creations may cost more; a failed attempt still uses mana, so check the button before pressing it.
Mana regenerates over time. Check the screen for your current amount, cap, and recovery timer; effects such as a monthly pass may change your cap.
If you are short on mana, wait for it to recover, browse the Codex, change your outfit, or use a Mana Potion.
Gold Sand: rewards from crafting and discovery
Successful creations earn Gold Sand, and purity may affect the reward. A world-first discovery brings an extra reward. The result window shows the actual amount earned from each attempt or first discovery.
Coins: trade and supplies
Refine 15 Gold Sand into 1 coin. Coins are used at the market and supply post; check the price before buying.
A Mana Potion costs 200 coins and restores 10 mana. Visit the Supply Post in the Warehouse to see supplies and your current stock.
Save resources for what comes next
Think about what you plan to do next: check mana and bag space before crafting, and check your coins and the item details before trading.
